It is probably less money overall to Activision, but it would be so much more reasonable for players and developers. But I think a free update (or only accessible if Cold War is purchased) with a few maps and guns to the Modern Warfare and Warzone multiplayer mode with black ops weapons would just make a lot more sense and be much less work for the teams Activision. Yes, it is cool to have multiplayer reflect the game itself.
I think that if they just released the Black Ops-Cold War campaign like they did the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, it would keep a lot more of the players inside of one multiplayer community. The real problem and concern I have with everything that COD is doing now are that we don’t really need an upgraded or updated multiplayer.
But overall this will feel more or less exactly like Call of Duty from the last two years with some different guns, maps, and skins. It should probably be fixed by the time the game comes out, I was just surprised at the lack of options and how poorly it felt to move around during parts of the game. The sprinting for the PlayStation version, the one I’m playing on, seems to be really finicky and buggy. It isn’t necessarily bad, but it just feels weird to play a game that feels so much like things from two years ago. It feels and plays just like Warzone and Modern Warfare and I feel like Call of Duty is going to look and feel like this for the next three years until their games come out exclusively for next-gen consoles. The game obviously looks really great it basically looks like a slightly better version of Warzone. The beta has a surprisingly good amount of maps and weapons. It’ll also be expressing some likes and concerns about the beta for the multiplayer and coming single player. But I was wrong and here is our open beta for Cold War. I thought after Warzone, Call of Duty would at least slow down the multiplayer making machine. Again, Call of Duty has come around with a new entry to the franchise.
